LATINO GOS approved SF
The end of the year is often synonymous with major events for breeders, with studbook approvals and various auctions. All over France and Europe, the Selle Français, Holstein, Westphalian and Hanoverian studbooks were held. Below is a summary at these key events.
In the Westphalian studbook, a product of CORNET OBOLENSKY was approved and sold for €50,000. For the Holstein studbook, Keaton II, by KANNAN x CONTENDRO, received the prestigious Premium label, and Cognac, a son of COMME IL FAUT, is among the approved stallions this year while in The Hanoverian studbook confirms the influence of COMME IL FAUT with a son licensed.
The studbook Selle Français has also been very active. Several young horses by DOLLAR DU ROUET received their approvals. Congratulations to Lincoln, La Tour Du Rouet, Lord Ko Deluca, and Master Du Rouet, who show great promise.
Among the 3-year-old stallions, Largowinch Du Chalet (CORNET OBOLENSKY x VIVALDI DU SEIGNEUR) and Lovekey De Riverland (CATOKI x Lifestyle) were approved with the mention "very promising" with is like the label Premium. LATINO GOS (COMME IL FAUT x UNTOUCHABLE), and Lupy De Tus (CANDY DE NANTUEL x Felin De Bneville) were also licensed.
For the 2-year-old stallions, congratulations to Moonlight Riverland (UNTOUCHABLE x COMME IL FAUT), Magnolia De Riverland (CATOKI x Quattro De Riverland), Marciano Du Ciel (COMME IL FAUT x Acord II), Midnight De Beaufour (CABACHON x Diamant De Semilly) for their approvals.
The auction results have been remarkable :
N-Crown Colonel Obolensky, a CORNET OBOLENSKY offspring, was sold for €500,000
Cool Run Ec, by COMME IL FAUT, was sold for €165,000
Cataleya Van’t Roosakker, also by COMME IL FAUT, was sold for €56,000
Two offspring of CORNET OBOLENSKY, Corlie Vv and Coco Chanel Van Ww, as well as Cobara Vd Berghoeve (COMME IL FAUT x Goethe) and Calimero Njh (CATOKI x Diamant De Semilly), were each auctioned for €54,000.
