FABULOUS FALKO AND GFE YOUNG STALLION'S SQUAD !

The 2022 Grande Semaine de Fontainebleau (French national final for young horses) has just ended and it was a particularly successful edition for the GFE stallions! 

Like father, like son: the incredible FALKO DE HUS won the title of French Champion of 7 year-olds just like his renowned father Baloubet du Rouet did 26 years ago. 

Some of the young GFE stallions also boasted very good performances, such as ITOKI DE RIVERLAND (a son of CANDY DE NANTUEL who was crowned 3yo Champion in 2021) who came 3^rd in the 4 year-old final, just a few ranks ahead of IGELO DE RIVERLAND who finished 7^th. In the final for 5 year-olds, HOKKAIDO DE MENJO achieved a treble clear round and finished 4^th. This national final also proved to be a valuable and most promising experience for GWENNDU DE KERGANE and HELIOS D'HELBY.

The offspring of CORNET OBOLENSKY, CANDY DE NANTUEL, KANNAN, UP TO YOU, CONTENDRO and UNTOUCHABLE were particularly noteworthy.

• CORNET OBOLENSKY is omnipresent in all the rankings. He managed the feat of having 4 offspring in the line-up for the 7 year-old Final, of which 3 ended up in the Top 10.
• CANDY DE NANTUEL’s first generation of offspring turned 5 this year and has particularly stood out with 3 mares ranked in the Top 10.
• KANNAN keeps his status among the best sires of young horses.
• UP TO YOU seems to be on the verge of becoming a new “star” amongst our stallions and has confirmed his qualities as a sire in this 2022 edition with over 50% of his young offspring having qualified for this Grand Final with several rankings !
• CONTENDRO is every year among the best represented stallions, ranked 4th best Sire, right behind KANNAN, CORNET and DIAMANT!
• UNTOUCHABLE's first offspring since his return to France are now 5 years of age and confirm the confidence that breeders have placed in him.
• Last but not least, it is worth noting that out of 25 offspring born when he was younger, GIOVANI DE LA POMME boasted 15 qualified offspring for the final, i.e. 60%. 

Breeding and managing horses is a long process and we are delighted to see how well our young stallions did this year and how much our rising stars confirmed the hopes we all placed in them.
