Indigo de Nantuel
The 2025 edition of the Grande Semaine de Fontainebleau will be remembered for the incredible results of CANDY DE NANTUEL ’s offspring. With 28 qualified horses, CANDY was among the most represented stallions of the week, but without a doubt the one who stood out the most with numerous rankings and podiums!
From the very start of the week, the young Mahena Delphiniere (CANDY x Cap Kennedy) set the tone, finishing 5th in the 3-year-old mares’ championship with a score of 17.13 in free jumping.
The 4-year-old generation confirmed their potential with 8 offspring among the best of their age group: Label du Peu (CANDY x Double d'Elle) was Champion among the geldings, Lila des Joncs (CANDY x Diamant de Semilly) placed 4th in the mares, Lol de la Cayenne (CANDY x Jus des Fontaines) 7th, Legende Daiflam (CANDY x Cap Kennedy) 10th, Lybie de Beaufour (CANDY x Diamant) and Légende Vendéenne (CANDY x Guepard de Breka) were awarded the Très Bon label.
Among the colts: Ludwig des Cisan (CANDY x Quartz du Chanu) earned the Très Bon label, and Kyoto de Nantuel (CANDY x Kalaska de Semilly) was a finalist.
In the 5-year-olds, Kyoto de Nantuel (CANDY x Kalaska de Semilly) was again a finalist. In the 6-year-olds, CANDY continued to shine: Jango Desbois (CANDY x Vondéen) was 5th among the geldings, Janna du Nevez (CANDY x Canturo) and Jolie Fée de Kreisker (CANDY x Quickly de Kreisker) received "Très Bon" labels in the mares, and Jalisco de Coquerie (CANDY x Helios de la Cour II) finished 8th among the males.
It was in the 7-year-old category that CANDY achieved a remarkable feat, being omnipresent on the podium:
- Indigo de Nantuel (full brother of CANDY by BALOU DU ROUET) was crowned French Champion with Arthur Deuquet
- Ismi Menama (CANDY x Rubis de Preuilly) was 2nd with Timothée Anciaume
- Candice vd Celiebruge (CANDY x Lupicor) was 3rd with Stéphanie Hennequin
Also placed were: Isba de Nantuel (Chilli Willi x Folie de Nantuel, sister of CANDY) 10th with Arthur Deuquet, Ilyad du Villiers (CANDY x Frascator Mail) with Alexis Gourdin, and It Girl de la Rose (CANDY x Zandor Z) with Tressy Muhr.
